One framework, separate studies
A shared Node.js and Express backend provides authentication, API validation, database connectivity, email verification, and researcher access while preserving separate routes, collections, workflows, and datasets.
Wearable pipeline
Custom-device data is received through the participant app, transmitted through authenticated APIs, validated and timestamped, stored in MongoDB, and surfaced in researcher dashboards.
Participant to dataset
Role-based JWT access, consent records, participant IDs, questionnaires, symptom and menstrual logs, session histories, researcher notes, cohort summaries, and structured dataset export.
Backend migration
Migrated the Women’s Health backend from FastAPI and PostgreSQL to Node.js and MongoDB while preserving API contracts and adjusting the frontend where required.
Tested end to end
Authentication, role-based rejection, form validation, dashboard values, API compatibility, and wearable-data transmission were tested. Dashboard values matched raw database records with no breaking API changes.
